NDIS Code of Conduct – TrueNorth Assist

The NDIS Code of Conduct applies to all workers and providers who deliver NDIS supports and services. At TrueNorth Assist, we are committed to following these standards to ensure participants are treated with dignity, respect, and fairness.

1. Respect the rights of people with disability to freedom of expression, self-determination and decision-making.

  • We support participants to make their own choices and live the life they want.
  • We respect cultural, religious, and personal values at all times.

2. Respect the privacy of people with disability.

  • We protect personal information and only share it with consent or when required by law.
  • We maintain confidentiality in all communications.

3. Provide supports and services in a safe and competent manner with care and skill.

  • Our staff are trained, qualified, and supported to deliver high-quality services.
  • We actively manage risks to ensure safe environments.

4. Act with integrity, honesty, and transparency.

  • We communicate openly and truthfully with participants, families, and stakeholders.
  • We avoid conflicts of interest and always act in the best interest of participants.

5. Promptly take steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that may impact the quality and safety of supports.

  • We encourage feedback and complaints without fear of retribution.
  • We investigate and address concerns quickly and fairly.

6. Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to all forms of violence, exploitation, neglect, and abuse.

  • We uphold zero tolerance towards abuse and exploitation.
  • We provide safeguarding training to all workers and report any concerns immediately.

7. Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to sexual misconduct.

  • We foster safe environments free from inappropriate behaviour.
  • Any incidents are addressed with urgency, in line with NDIS safeguarding obligations.
